Construction

If time is of the essence, we can build it in our workshop and erect it on site that’s what we will do. Steel framework either raw state or primed and painted our dedicated and experienced team are there to fabricate and construct from the ground up.

Civil

Our Engineering expertise is not limited to the Energy or Food sectors. We have completed many major contracts, such as Road Sign Gantries for the M25, Walkways over the A11 and Primary Welding Contractor for the Thames Barrier.

Marine

With Great Yarmouth being the long established Port for the UK oil and Gas Industry, quayside facilities are convenient and close to our workshop. Code-A-Weld has grown up with ship repairs and maintenance and many of our employees have completed their apprenticeships within a marine environment. As with all our contracts, we work closely with other sub-contractors, such as E&I companies and Hydraulic suppliers to facilitate the smooth running and timely completion of all projects.

The Company

Code-A-Weld has been supplying Industry for over 40 years. Founded in 1976 it has progressively grown into one of the largest, privately owned Engineering Welding and Fabrication companies in Great Yarmouth. It provides services in support of the Energy, Food, Construction, Civil and Marine Industries in general engineering and fabrication. In 2006 the company was acquired in a MBO by one of its long standing employee’s David Fowler. Since that time improved systems of work and further investment has been made in upgrading or new machinery including a high definition plasma cutter with true hole technology and a Trumpf Trumatic 3030 laser cutting machine to further improve productivity. The aim is to be the supplier of choice and their focus is to continue to enhance their reputation for quality and reliability, by building on their strengths, whilst actively seeking opportunities to further expand the company and cement Code-A-Weld’s place in the Industry and for the benefit of the local community.
